I had the tuna melt and a cappuccino (came with a biscuit always appreciated). The small boat ferry takes you to this amazing cafe. The nautical theme feels old and cozy. Staff very friendly. Makes a great day out.

Lovely lunch and then afternoon tea later. The toffee sponge cake is to die for.

Visited here on a club ride coffee stop, the place has a nautical theme throughout and is in very beautiful setting next to the river. Staff are super friendly and food and coffee choices were in abundance. There was plenty of seating inside and out and not much of a queue on our visit.......I will definitely be returning again to this lovely place.

The coffee shop that has everything except decent coffee. Great location, great cake, friendly staff but poor quality machine coffee which at £4.55 for an oatmilk latte is probably the most expensive I have paid at an independent coffee shop

Lovely coffee and cake but they leave so many unclean tables full of people's leftovers. They bring out your order but don't take back dirty crockery and cutlery on the way back. Not very pleasant environment spoiled the overall experience. This has been the same both times I have visited

Fantastic Service and went the extra mile.. Having completely missed the return ferry we were lucky the owner drove past and kindly opened up the ferry service to return us to the other side. Much appreciated

A friendly place to stop and have a coffee and cake. Staff friendly, dogs welcome a nice place to meet friends and family. Would recommend.

Lovely cafe by the River Thames. A variety of seating including sofas and comfortable chairs. Good coffee and friendly staff. I didn't eat this time but the food looked good! Interesting things to buy in the small gift shop area near the till including cards from a local artist and children's activity packs.

It was really good tho service a bit slow but then again it was really busy and it has an amazing view I loved it

Could be a nice place if they changed the staff. Young, rude staff with an attitude. Waited ages for my paid order, only to be told that my order ticket hadn’t printed out so they didn’t have it. Wrote down what I had ordered and said they’d get it sorted only to be kept waiting further while they processed other orders before mine. After still waiting and asking again, I was met with hostility by a young girl ‘we are very busy’ forcing me to explain that I’d waited longer than everybody else because they hadn’t received my order. To make the matter worse, the girl and the young lad smirked at each other as I walked away as witnessed by my 10 yr old daughter. By the time they had processed my order, they’d sold out of the pastry I had selected from the counter, so had to choose something else. Very unprofessional and disappointing as I’ve enjoyed previous visits, now reluctant to go back. Not the best value for money food wise either.

Lovely coffee shop with a large outdoor patio area overlooking the river. Very good value and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The reason why I only rated a 3 for service is not a reflection on the staff themselves, they just don’t seem to have it together with the drinks. Our food came out significantly ahead of our drinks. In the end I had to ask where our coffees were, they were bought to us shortly after I asked and the waitress did apologise. Unfortunately this didn’t seem to be a one off as several of other people had the same issue. With that said, we did have a very nice lunch here and I’ve only posted this so the cafe can learn from it. I would recommend that people check it out as the location is lovely and hopefully this was just a one off situation.

Nice atmosphere, horrid menu, .ostly just coffee and ultrs fattening cake.Nothing healthy.

We have been here several times recently. We both had jacket potatoes the potatoes were only warm ( not hot). We did notify Aiden the boss a couple of times but was not at all bothered about our complaints as he was too bothered playing a game on hi phone. We will not be rushing back here.

This is one of the most comfortable shops I've ever been to, situated near the river this coffee shop has personality and character in atmosphere and I would definitely comeback here again

Beautiful coffee shop, love the pirate style decor, very unique. Coffee was beautiful, with a lovely Biscoff biscuit, nachos not to bad, had better. Waiter Giovanni was excellent, very friendly and welcoming, will visit again in near future.

Service is slow (15 mins just for drinks and not many people there), hot chocolate tastes like hot water Coffee was not that good. Shame because if run correctly and quality of drinks was higher it could be a nice place.

Great little cafe with many selections to choose from for food and drinks! I had the bacon sandwich and it was very good, lovely busy cafe and dog friendly aswell. Only problem I seen was the table number system, employees walking around not knowing where tables was because of their system, maybe numbering the tables before hand and having a set system may work better! Other than that everything was perfect and definitely will be back!

I had a coffee at the Ferry Shop yesterday, and it was a lovely experience! The staff were very friendly, and the location by the side canal is just beautiful. It’s a perfect spot to relax, enjoy the view, and have a small cup of coffee with friends. Highly recommended for a peaceful hangout!

Very poor food and dirty cutlery and coffee mug full of old lipstick, I was really shocked the food looked fabulous when it came out but totally tasteless. Very stained and dirty cutlery we used the wooden ones instead.

Coffee was lukewarm, probably had been left standing for a while.Always seems to be lots of young people milling about not doing much.

Very poor customer service skills especially the counter girl, no smile or any sort of interaction….like helping diners was a massive inconvenience to her. Food poor with no sort of garnish and expensive for what arrived at the table. Shame because it could and should be so much better !

Great location, incredible shakes, and jacket potatoes were on point
