Whether you’re walking the Thames path, or making a special visit, we look forward to welcoming you to our coffee shop overlooking the Thames at Shepperton Lock. As well as fantastic coffee, cakes, and snacks, you can also discover artisan shops in the Ferry Point Courtyard.
We offer a wide range of drinks; coffees, teas, speciality hot and cold drinks, smoothies and milkshakes.
Our menu consists of toasted ciabattas and wraps, jacket potatoes, and salads. Breakfast is served until 11am every day. We also have an extensive selection of cakes and takeaway sandwiches.
👍
Calming atmosphere, lovely staff, and great food.
Great location for a drink/snack after a walk along the river. Please bring back Tea Pigs tea as the brand you have changed to is not as good. Also, you have halved the cake portion sizes and still charge the same amount which is very disappointing. Parking: best to get there early
Visited this coffee shop today and was utterly disappointed. Have been here several times before and previous visits have been OK but todays experience has left me not wishing to return. We had 2 toasted sandwiches, a hot chocolate and a cappuccino which I'd asked to be extra hot. The drinks arrived first and they were lukewarm. When the food arrived, I asked the waitress if we could have the drinks hotter and she apologised and said she would bring fresh ones.......... These were also just warm! the toasted sandwiches looked very anaemic and the cheese in my ham and cheese toasties was barely melted. The bacon in the bacon brie and cranberry toastie was salty as hell and there was a dollop of bitter cranberry sauce at the bottom. For the prices they are charging I would have expected maybe a few chips or crisps on the plate rather than a bit of uninviting brown edged salad. I don't normally complain but felt that They really need to up their game. I was shocked to see so many empty seats but now I know why. The table next to us also had poorly presented food which they sent back. Such a shame
Very nice little cafe with decent quality coffee and nice selection of pastries sandwiches etc. even has a nice little gift shop and garden at the back. Amazing view and lovely seating areas. Main limitation is the hot food, I’ve tried the avacado on toast and it was overpriced ready made rubbish. If they are making it fresh, they need to drastically improve the way they prepare it. And if they are not, they need to start cooking things to order especially for the price.
Lovely coffee shop down by the riverside ,enjoyed a slice of cake and pot of tea ,staff were very helpful. Parking: Parked almost outside but could be a problem on warm days
Went for snack lunch today. Waitress managed to dump the tray of milk all over me. She was mortified and apologized. However I would have expected the manger (nowhere to be seen) to have come and tried to sort things. Great food, terrible management. People also smoking where food was being eaten. I'd give it a miss TBH.
My first visit to this coffee shop and I enjoyed the experience. Nice atmosphere and plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. Staff were pleasant and service was quick. There was a large selection of cakes as well as sandwiches and pastry options, and an ice cream fridge. The coffee was good. Pricing was good value. I will return!
Excellent coronation chicken sandwich today post cycle. Filled to bursting. Can't stand sandwiches where the filling looks good in the pack but open opening you find a disappointing ratio of bread:filling! No trouble here! The chicken and bacon sandwich my son had was equally well filled. And a seat outside in the sun looking at the river is always lovely.
Cheers to all the people coming here from AJS.
Love this place — chilled, friendly, everybody welcome vibes. Love a place that welcomes dogs too — very different to other coffee shops in Shepperton, really lovely. Not feeling rushed is such a rarity too! Highly reccommend and great for a dog walk after!
Usually love this place but disappointed this visit. Just didn't have the same atmosphere. Girl serving at the till was miserable and outside courtyard was full of rubbish. The complimentary biscuits have also been changed, I'm assuming to a cheaper version, which aren't as nice as the original. Having said that, the coffee was hot and delicious and service was quick and with a smile.
7 of us met at the coffee shop yesterday for our son's birthday. The welcome was warm, coffee was hot, the cake delicious. It was busy but what do you expect on a Sunday? Your staff were brilliant, working so hard & doing so with a smile.Thank you very much. We'll be back.
Visited today (29th Jan), what has happened to the coffee ??, used to be very enjoyable smooth and creamy, today was bitter and strong....yak. Try tasting it yourselves.
Fab food & atmosphere, friendly staff. Reasonably priced
Excellent food and coffee, boutique shops and gifts- easy to while away a few hours in the comfy chairs; or get a bit of work done in one of the many tucked away tables. Great spot to stop if you’re taking a gentle stroll down the river, or a nice destination to meet friends if you’re driving (lots of parking round the back). Can you do board as well please?
Noisy, crowded, slow service and lukewarm coffee, anaemic toast. I’m sure the staff mean well but uncleared tables and delays don’t measure up to other coffee places in Shepperton.
A really nice place good food and service and at a good price, I had a coffee and cake whilst waiting for my push bike was serviced by zab bikes in the courtyard
One of my favourite home from home cafes. I love to buy one of their great coffees or an earl grey tea and snuggle in to one of the comfy sofas, read the paper or watch the world go by. Perfect for a couple of happy hours on a Sunday - or any day really!
Great place for an indoor or outdoor morning coffee on a walk or bike ride
BEST coffee shop I have ever entered. The location is beautiful and the shop is set out perfectly, no squashing about and no noisy coffee machines going off every two seconds! You can actually hear yourself and your company. You have a spacious indoor section and not one but two outdoor seating areas. Top quality and the best thing of all are the staff, amazing, hard working and always greeted with a smiley friendly face. Literally the only coffee shop I will ever go to and stay for hours. 🤩⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I went today with a group of 16 volunteers from my Church for morning Coffee and Cake. The service was exceptional. We ordered all the drinks and cakes as one order and the first drinks were served to our table before we had finished the rest of the order and paid! The cakes were delicious, the drinks were hot, the staff were friendly and the atmosphere was very welcomimg. All our volunteers loved the Ferry Coffee Shop. We will return.
Lovely coffee shop, with brilliant choice of light lunches, and cakes.😄
Good to stop before catching ferry
Beautiful place, amazing staff, what else could you want.
Arrived at 5.05pm the selected some ice creams and gifts that stood at the till for 5 mins waiting for the attention of any of the 5 staff present?? Finally after calling out if they were serving, told “ No we close at 5pm”. I appreciate they were closed but to stand and watch us select items and wait for service.. ignoring us! It would take 2 seconds on our entering to apologies they were closed, but instead left us feeling very ignored. Please train your staff customer service and manners, as it will be the difference between jealousy returning customers or people that share how bad the staff are! Very disappointing
The Shepperton-Weybridge Ferry is not running today due to the river conditions. Apologies for any inconvenience.
